Use Flash, it contains the XMLSocket object which can create an open socket connection to a server-side application, which means your application would use an IP address and a port number like any FTP or chat application (but within your browser). Each connection may need to be on it’s own thread, but you aren’t held back by ASP.net threads so you can have 1000+ concurrent connections. Flash will send javascript commands to your client-side web application when a response comes in from the server, and you don’t need to find a solution for sending commands back to flash from javascript to make a request to the server (which will not be supported in some browsers). Instead, you can send a javascript xml request (AJAX) to the server and ASP.net can relay the request to the server-side application.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03636474922834612088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13892529.post-12956049313148980762008-06-30T09:45:00.000+01:002008-06-30T09:45:00.000+01:00Yep, visifire can be a solution ,but "Silverlight"...Yep, visifire can be a solution ,but "Silverlight" needs to be installed on every client machineZeeshan Qadirhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13626420580359067972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13892529.post-43775232752271017592008-06-30T06:57:00.000+01:002008-06-30T06:57:00.000+01:00guys, want to draw some awesome charts then chk th...guys, want to draw some awesome charts then chk this out <A HREF="http://visifire.com" REL="nofollow">visifire</A> an amazing chart controller powered by silverlight 2 beta 2 offered under open source just for freerickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00977840326654835932noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13892529.post-923718391864118242008-04-10T17:00:00.000+01:002008-04-10T17:00:00.000+01:00WAOOOOOO, Many many congratultions for this honour...WAOOOOOO, Many many congratultions for this honour and many more to come. <BR/>NOORAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00809139873339952035noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13892529.post-77204145712627147382008-02-20T17:10:00.000+00:002008-02-20T17:10:00.000+00:00Salam Zeeshan, just wanted to thank you for this g...Salam Zeeshan, just wanted to thank you for this great post detailing all aspects of the event...
